8:30 in the morning ~ I've been up for 3 hours already and it feels like lunchtime. When does this early morning routine seem normal? I'm super eager for the first 3-day weekend of school to arrive! My daily routines have resumed (exercise/yoga/weekly bible studies) but between 2-4pm I seem to hit a wall. A couch wall. Then when it's time to get my little guy from the bus stop, I get a second wind but yama hama, it sure makes for a long day. Add baseball and such various responsibilities out of the house and my hair gets more wild. Haven't fallen asleep in my dinner plate yet but I'm a happy mommy when the littlest is in bed and I can curl up with knitting or a book and my cup of tea and pass out till the alarm rings.
Needless to say, I haven't gotten fully back into the designing groove. The ideas are there floating around in my head and on paper and in the computer files but alas, they stay there. I have promised another Year in Jane Austen design and hope to get September's out before October arrives! Also have a new Hymn sampler printed to stitch so yea ... slow mo on that front. Getting orders out that chug along on the website has been caught up to date, thankfully.
Last night I finished this book - really fun read. The ending was the best part - when it all came together. If you like chick lit then you'll enjoy this one.
