snow + knitting = happy me

We had our first snow yesterday afternoon and it was gorgeous. It only lasted a few hours before tapering off to all flurries and not accumulating more than a covering but it was fun while it lasted. Z and I had a great time in it -- it was cold!!

I worked more on my hat and while not in time to wear for the first snow, I'm in a hurry to finish it and put it on! Off to put the kettle on for tea at least and knit some more rows. Happy Tuesday.

*Oh and btw, that recipe I posted yesterday was delicious! I added a can of black beans to it and ended up subbing ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese after all. YUM!!

Too funny... When I first looked at that photo, I thought it was a turtle hat. The hat looked like the shell and from a distance the frog (I think it's really a frog!) looked like the turtle head.

I love those ear muffs! I so wish we'd get some snow over here. The temps have been mild for Winter and I hate it!

Tanya, I love Z's ear muffs. How cute are those. Will we see a picture of your hat? What kind of kettle do you use? My DH ruined mine. Thinking of a less obvious type of 'kettle' ;=)
