Saturday afternoon was a little stitch-in @ my Mom's house. Mom wins the prize for actually finishing something (Yay!) and it's beautiful!!

Now I'm afraid to post my abundant amount of stitching so as to not be a show off but okay, here it is.
Mind you, I haven't stitched in 3 months and apparently just sitting down with needle and thread was a stir enough that I couldn't muster much but the tree. Part of it. The design is by Little House Needleworks. I changed the colors and well, it will be sweet when it gets more progress.
My Mom's house is always decorated so cosy-like so here are a few snapshots of displays in a bathroom.

The week-end has been quite relaxing even though wicked hot and humid but it is summer so ... see you again in August! That's tomorrow, right?

Hi Tanya! And stitching is the ONLY thing I have wanted to fo for quite awhile- all my papercrafting energy seems to have gone by the wayside. But I know what you mean and you really can't force creativity, can you? I LOVE what everyone is working on- what are the 2 patterns you showed- the finish for you mom and the Halloween one (the saying is amazing)? I would love to know. Have a great week !

Yeay for your mom on the beautiful finish! I love what the other girls are working on, too. I need to pull out my CHS stuff and my Halloween stuff and get going. Yeay on the getting back into stitching! I hope the mojo is returning and that stitching the tree didn't exert you too much. ;) LOL I never manage to get any stitching done when I'm with friends--I talk too much.
