The pool opened this week-end and yesterday we enjoyed it even though it was pretty crowded for Memorial Day. It's been quite hot here and today the heat index is to hit 105 so we're enjoying the air conditioning, ice tea and I'm about to fix pasta salad for dinner. Too hot to do much of anything! Just ask my cat.

Yikes!! 105! We're still muddling through the 50s here. We had a nice April but May's been on the cooler side. I miss those Memorial Day pool openings with the kids--such fun. I loved seeing the pics here & on FB of Zack--I can almost smell the chlorine and it brings back memories from when my rugrats were smaller. :)

I so do not like the heat. Sunshine, I love. Heat? Not so much. But a day in the water would be fun!! Z has the right idea for sure!! Oh Iced Tea!!! You've got me sold - tomorrow I'm grabbing an iced coffee on my way to work!
I'd like a dip in that pool - looks very inviting.
