new year's eve

"Well, journal, this is the last day of the old year .. bid the new year welcome. God grant that it may never record unfulfilled aspirations, unsatisfied longings, or ungathered flowers. Good-bye, dear old year. You have been on the whole a very happy one for me."
-Lucy Maud Montgomery, 31 December 1889

Hello Tanya! It has been too long since I visited you and then I stopped by this week but never got around to commenting. I even cooked your country brunch skillet with a few added ingredients for dinner. Jos says I can make that again. :-)

I also love the book Tree as well as the TV movie. Have you ever seen it?

Your little men are growing up. They are both handsome and look very happy together.

I wish you and your family a happy and healthy New Year. May 2011 bring you inspiration and happiness with needle and thread!

Hugs from Holland ~
Heidi
