On the ride home from school today ...
Me: What do you want for Christmas, Ben?
Ben: I don't know. Maybe some fish.
Zack: You can't have fish, Ben. They're too watery.
Me: What do you want, Zack?
Zack: I want a cow.
Ben and I (trying not to laugh too hard): A cow???
Zack: I want a cow. We could feed him our grass. The ducklings could live there too.
Looks like Santa has a tall order this year :)

When they start building the Ark let me know, we'll load up and get on board with you :)
You have to wonder where children come up with these things....and you just have to love it!
Tanya, you might want to look here for a cow for Zach

He seems to be a bright little fella!
I think Z should get a stuffed cow for Christmas for sure!! LOL
Zack should definitely get his cow for Christmas (and don't forget the ducklings)! He is just too funny!
I'm sure Ben would take very good care of fish - water and all!
What a fun ride home you had! Maybe Zack will settle for a stitched cow ornament!
What a lovely conversation!
I visit your blog now and then. Love your stitcherie.
This time I visit your blog while I was searching for a advent calender. Needlework Craftcossip mentioned that you had a lovely crossstitch advent calender for free. But... it's not longer available on your blog.
I would love to stitch it.
I wish you a nice day, and much more of this pressious conversations.

One year I asked the soon-to-be 28 year old dude (my allegedly adult husband) what he wanted for his birthday. "Fish," he answered. And he said no more.
So I made him a fish dinner and bought him a googly-eyed goldfish. He named him Horace. (Unfortunately Horace died the same day as Diana.) I say you have to buy the cow to teach him a lesson. ;)
