There was mud. Lots of mud. The squishiest kind. Hay ... should have been more hay to cover the mud. But there was fun. Oodles of it amid the noise of kids everywhere. Zack and I hayrided (new word), ran through the mud, zoomed down fast slides, gazed at smelly animals, dodged past noisy school field trip crowds, and lunched on hot dogs, cider and pretzels. I knew it would be busy today, the last day before Halloween, but we had to get there, my z and me.

There so much fun at that age. That was my favorite age for kids. Enjoy these years while you can!!!! Before hormones set in...LOL

Zach is adorable. I miss those times, as I am dealing with teenage drama (thankfully mine are good but dealing with them as they deal with friends who aren't quite as good...) on Halloween! LOL
