crown'd

I'm wearing a crown. Mine isn't as sparkly and showy as the one in this picture but rather solid and sturdy for good chewing. First thing this morning, it was off to the dentist I went where I found out I needed such an ornament to add to the other embellishments in my mouth. As I was sitting there, hearing sounds you would normally hear when houses are built and hoses fly wildly in the air, I tried to take my mind off my own trauma by thinking how much I loved Novocaine and how far dentistry has advanced through the centuries. This eased my discomfort and before I knew it the hour was over.

Our teeth have to last us a lifetime so take care of them ~ who knows, maybe you'll need a crown too. Wear it with a smile. Here's to Monday!

I hate the dentist, but maybe it's because I used to be a receptionist for an oral surgeon and saw some really gross things!

No fun in the midst, but definitely a blessing afterwards!

Tanya - You're so funny!! I have tons of these embellishments... so much for chewing gum as a teenager!!

Oh, dear. If I had the $3,000 my last crown cost, I could have bought quite a nice tiara. On the other hand, it is good to be able to chew.

Now that you have a "crown" what the heck will you have as your sceptre or scepter? :)

Love the new designs, Tanya! Great job. :) The Trunk Show looks like it was a big hit--I loved getting to see the displays, etc., in your photos.

Best of luck with the new crown! I have just one, and pulled it out a few years ago while scarfing down some toffee. My family still likes to tease me about it. LOL The worst part was telling the dentist exactly how it came to be pulled out of my mouth!! LOL Thankfully it was easily put back in. I hope your crown stays put--long may she reign. ;)

A crown today, no matter what the cost in pain or dollars, far beats the alternative of those ancient days of folks without teeth and nasty (I'm sure) breath!

oh, I can't stand the dentist....don't mention it because I'm scared to death when I go. I have one cavity now that I have to take care of. I didn't have a cavity until I was 35 so that part was good but the sounds like you say make me ill.
